System Crashing Using SABnzbd

Featured Replies

Team,

My SABnzbd losses connection and the server becomes unresponsive when active for more than 30 mins downloading content. Conducting a hard reboot is the only way for the server to return online. Currently, the SABnzbd container is stopped, and everything has been running smoothly for several days. Hotio maintains the container, but I always keep them updated. I greatly appreciate any insight or resolution.

Thank you

 Hello

I had similar problems with sabnzb. I then discovered that one of my SSD was too slow. After a certain time, the throughput dropped to 30 mb/s. Since all dockers and everything were running on a pool with 2 SSD, it blocked my entire system. I have now replaced these and now everything is working fine again

Thank you for the insight, but I am unsure if that is the issue. Please see below.

@echoing-backseat4387Hey were you able to figure out what was wrong with your server? I have been having the exact same issue you’ve been experiencing.

I've also been having the same issue. It's been a bitch to diagnose because of how infrequently it happens. Still looking for the solution.

Can I ask how you diagnosed this? What tool(s) did you use to check the write throughput of a single drive in a pool?

I went through it a while ago, and someone mentioned not to use CPU cores zero and the one directly below CPU core zero. For me, that is CPU cores zero and six.

I did that for all my Docker containers located in settings --> system settings --> CPU pinning. i had zero issues since making those changes over six months ago.
