I pressed the "Reset" button in the vpn manager section and it doesn't work anymore.

Hello there,

I hope you can help me.

I have a Unraid server for which I had a vpn configured and which was working well. I wanted to add a peer and then before I had even finished, I wanted to delete it (I changed my mind). I couldn't find a "delete" button so I pressed the "reset" button which was right at the bottom of this peer but now I'm no longer able to access my unraid interface with my local address (say 192.168.1.21) with a pc which is connected to the same network locally. But with another remote PC connected to my vpn, I can no longer access with the local address (192.168.1.21) when the vpn is connected but I can access via my address provided by the vpn (say 10.254.10.1).

It should also be noted that I can no longer access my data on my server with the local PC via \192.168.1.21 whereas I can access them using vpn on a remote PC.

I would like to reaccess my nas server both locally and via vpn via the local address only (192.168.1.21).

A restart of my server did not correct the situation. I have also tried with chatgpt but it makes me go round in circles. I'm not a great network connoisseur either.

I thank you in advance for your help 🙂 and wish you a very happy holiday 🙂

You can delete/rename the wg*.cfg files from /boot/config/wireguard and reboot, then recreate the VPN connection.
