[SOLVED] Free Share Space Doesn't Reflect Newly Added Drives

Recommended Posts

unRAID Version 5.0b13 - I recently added 3 - 750 GB drives (6 drives total, Plus Lic), pre-cleared and added to the array and have started and formatted and everything looks fine. I can write to them as disk shares, but when I look at the shares page, the free space shown, doesn't reflect the added 2.25 TB the added space. It still shows the free space that was indicated before I added the additional drives. Thoughts? Thanx!

None of my shares have anything in the "Include Disk". I have always let unRAID simply use whatever space it needs to based on highwater mark, but it has always shown the total remaining space spanning all the drives, until I added these three drives. I'll be happy to share the definition...not at the house at the moment and I know if I go by memory I'll end up lying.  ;) So, when I get home I'll post that info. Thanx!

As part of adding 3 drives, I also had to add a SATA host controller so I would have enough ports for the drives. Took a bit to get the card to work because I had to update the bios on the card, so I had rebooted the thing what seemed a million times as part of getting everything configured correctly. So if you had asked me if I had tried rebooting, I probably would have said, of course I have!  :)  But after you said to try rebooting...I couldn't really recall if I had or not...so went ahead and rebooted and all is good! Couldn't believe I didn't already try that. Thanx a bunch!
