Conserns about motherboards

Featured Replies

Ok. i bought a mb and processor the other day to set up my new unraid server. which by the way i am pumped about. then i mentioned my mb is a ESC a740gm-m with a amd atholonx2 in a post and someone said something that made me think this is no good. in my other machine i have a asus m2n32-sli deluxe. Which one is going to work better? and why?  My jump drive is in the mail so id like to figure this out asap. thanks guys.

Now as to your Asus m2n32-sli deluxe board, I really like nForce 590 boards, very fast and lots of SATA ports.  I have an nForce 570, almost the same.  I have had one quirk, I had to add the noapic parameter to the boot, for unRAID version 4.1 and now 4.3b6, but not for the 4.2 versions.
