Can't configure a mix of SATA and NVME disk for Parity/Disk1

Featured Replies

For now appr. 1 year I use unraid basic for my home NAS.
It's equiped with a single 2TB SATA M.2 disk.
Now I wanted to extend my system with a second disk, used for parity.

I am running the actual Unraid version 6.12.14.

Since my Dell Wyse5070 doesn't support a second SATA disc, I had to use an NVME disk now.

Both disks are formated as xfs.

Packing both devices into one array works as expected, it now offers 4 TB of storage.

But as said, I wanted to add the second disk for parity.

Since the SATA disk is slightly larger, I need to use the SATA for parity.

But it is not possible to configure this, the NVME disk, that i use for storage is shown as Wrong.
Also the second entry in the storage can't be set to unassigned, only 'no device' is available.

Do you have proposals how I can fix this?
