Unmountable: wrong or no file system

Featured Replies

My system recently underwent a data rebuild process due to Unmountable: wrong or no file system indicated on Disk 3, which was reported as a successful rebuild process. However, the same message indicates an issue persists on the system.

I am unsure how to address this without risking any data loss and would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.

Thank you in advance for your support. I look forward to your guidance.

I have attached the diagnostics and a screenshot for clarity...

Was the disk disabled before the rebuild? Or was it just unmountable? Or both? These are different and independent conditions.

Rebuild will fix a disabled disk, but it won't fix an unmountable filesystem. And it's much better to repair the filesystem before attempting to rebuild (if disabled), especially if rebuilding onto the same disk.

Check filesystem on disk3 from the webUI and post the results.

Thank you, I was able to repair the drive by following your link to the instructions. The drive is back and running as normal, I only see that my VM is missing....
