A simple telegram file downloader.

GitHub: https://github.com/jarvis2f/telegram-files

Docker Package: https://github.com/jarvis2f/telegram-files/pkgs/container/telegram-files

DESCRIPTION

  • Support for downloading files from telegram channels and groups.
  • Support multiple telegram accounts for downloading files.
  • Support suspending and resuming downloads.
  • Multiple accounts with same files will be downloaded only once.
  • Responsive design supports mobile access.

WOW!

Nice work!

Please consider an option to allow forwarding of media from 1 group to another.

First of all thank you for this container!

Very nice one from what I've seen for now, but I do have some issues with it.

  • For me the name of the files is not shown. Only the comment and timestamp. EDIT: Using "search files..." I can find files by their names
  • Channels that contain subgroups cannot be found and accessed using the searchbar (maybe not implemented yet?)

Would be nice to rename via the app, I think it's the channel's fault but my files are something like:

index_index_sadi3478.mp4

Thanks

This may be more convenient to operate in other telegram clients

This should be the original name of the file

  1. It is a good idea to display the name of the file, it will be updated in the next version
  2. If you have joined the subgroup then it should show

Thank you for this. Works well. It would be a good to have an option to set GID and UID. All downloads are owned by root as of now.

No one an idea ?

Seems there was a container update today. The errors disappeared but I have another issue. After clicking add account this shows up:
grafik.thumb.png.f3d7f482947b6c69f00fa188b90b7e3a.png

Inside the Textbox it's white font on white background.
grafik.png.c2dce9c1c9004998de10eaaf26a6ec88.png
And after that nothing seems to happen. I can close the Window with X
But the account in the background will never be / get active:

What am i missing ?

it runs now.

Sorry, I'm just seeing your problem now. Can it run normally now?

Thanks for building this and for all the work you’ve put in, much appreciated.

Would you consider adding support for a UMASK environment variable as well?

Thanks again!
