Dashboard info & array info missing, webCLI not working, but the system seems OK

Featured Replies

hi everyone,

i have an odd issue with my system: as you can see in my attached screenshots, the dashboard is not showing any information about cpu usage or other system information. While for RAM the graphs are missing the values seem to be displayed.

My main page is missing all the arry details, but oddly the unassigned device is there.

when i try to use the web CLI i get a blank page (previsouly it opened shortly, but closed again quickly).

other then that, my system seems operational. my docker containers are running, my VM is working. My shares are accessible.
the previous 2 times this happened i could only solve it with a reboot. Because of this i know the uptime of my system is now almost 6 days. in these 6 days i did not experience any other issues.

has anybody seen such an issue before?

I've been having this problem for months now, funny I just now look  it up and find a 10hr old post.  Same as you, can't access web CLI but can still ssh and run htop, honestly just been ignoring it because of that.  Everything works but the UI gets janky in the Docker page sometimes too, are you running a lot of containers?

May want to post your diagnostics, I remember the only errors I saw last time I looked were for missing xml templates of VMs I already deleted.  And it's taking forever to download them now.

I am having the same issue. any help would be appreciated to fix this.

This sometimes happens to some users, a different browser and/or rebooting helps in most cases.

Happens across multiple browser and machines, would be nice to not have to reboot my server every few days. The fact that it's stuck on downloading diagnostics makes me think I should be restarting instead of letting it hang like I have been. Gonna pay more attention this time and see how long it takes to happen again.

Likewise I am getting this issue as of yesterday, across devices and browsers...

If you cannot get the diags, get at least the syslog:

cp /varl/log/syslog /boot/syslog.txt

Diags download fine after restarting.  Looks similar to the last time I noticed this and looked at them. Only errors I see are for removed VM templates.

I'm sure unrelated to this, but is it expected for unraid to not delete docker app and VM templates when you remove them from the UI?

There are some issues with your pool, run a correcting scrub, but that's unrelated to this issue, and since you are not the OP, so it may be better to start a new thread.

I just had the same problem, although I kept getting booted out of the CLI mysteriously. I managed to stay connected long enough to find that my /var/log was 100% full in the same way as this post:

Rebooting cleared the log files for me, but I'm not sure what triggered it yet.

i have not seen this issue for a few weeks now. but today it is back.

i did a quick check on my docker cotainers and noticed that scrutiny can not read the disk info.

Adding to this old thread incase anyone like me passes by trying to figure this out.

If you are accessing the Unraid GUI via reverse proxy, make sure that you've enable/allowed websockets via the reverse proxy. Fixed the issue for me
