Unraid server becomes unresponsive after a few days online

Featured Replies

As the title says, after a few days of uptime, the server will suddenly be unreachable on the network. Could be 12 hours, or could be 12 days, but it always eventually happens. I'm trying to determine if this is a hardware or software issue so I got a syslog dump, but I'm not very experienced in diagnosing the logs. It looks like it might be network related as the last few lines of the log seems to indicate that the eth0 interface is connecting and disconnecting.

I figured I would dump the log here and see if any generous souls would volunteer their knowledge and suggestions to figure this out.

Unfortunately, there's nothing relevant logged, this can also be a hardware issue, one thing you can try is to boot the server in safe mode with all docker containers/VMs disabled, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one, including the individual docker containers.

That's a great idea! I will try this and report back
