Featured Replies

it's a btrfs pool:

everything looks ok.

generated diagnostic but haven't pulled it from USB, let me know if it's absolutely needed if this can be a quick fix...

Thanks, I have the exactly same question when I upgrade my server to 7.0.0, this also works for me!

I think maybe there exists some difference between the two versions.

Hi,

I'm experiencing a similar problem with "Wrong pool State.  cache - too many wrong or missing devices"

image.png.b7d7ecd7d402bdc55d13500d51ab34f8.png

I did not have a cache pool set up previously and don't intend to set one up.

What can I do to fix this?

Thank you!

If u dont want it, maybe just click blue link "Cache", and then ckick "remove pool" button and then start array?

Hey uihara, I just did this (support helped!) and it fixed my problem. Thanks!

That's a different issue, v7 no longer allows pools without any assigned devices, just need to remove it.

@JorgeBI'm still curious why my configuration can't work initially, could you still help take a look at diagnostics? (my issue was resolved by remove and recreate pool)

thanks!

I think this was the issue, from the old pool.cfg, but post new diags for comparison:

diskFsProfile="raid1"
diskFsWidth="1"
diskFsGroups="1"

fswidth should be 4, since there are 4 devices in the pool

Yep, now it's correct:

diskFsProfile="raid1"
diskFsWidth="4"
diskFsGroups="1"

Is that number something I set?

No, but v6.12 was not very rigorous with that for btrfs pools, especially if the pool was upgraded after initial creation, but v7 requires the cfg to be correctly set.

Experienced the same problem after upgrade.

I have never used cache drive so was really surprised by this issue.

In my instance all I needed to do was to change value of 'Slots' in 'Pool Devices' to 0 (zero)

After that array started as normal.
