April 3, 201214 yr When browsing the Seasonic site I noticed 2 X-series: http://seasonicusa.com/X.htm http://seasonicusa.com/NEW_X-series_560-660-760-850.htm What is the difference between these 2 series, apart from the latter being NEW. Are both series modular? Are both 80+ GOLD? I'm confused. I can get the NEW X-760 cheaper than the X-750. So I prefer the X-760.

The NEW X series is just the newer models. Slightly different watt rating, but they are all still good. Even the old, regular X-series is a good PSU. You can't go wrong with a Gold series PSU from Seasonic, no matter what model it is.
