January 11, 20251 yr Hello to all. First post here. Still very new to Unraid. I was finally able to get and install a Parity disk, and my first parity check is running right now. As of now, as a temporary setting, I have a 1TB SDD in my array, and a 500GB SDD as cache. I intend to replace the 1TB SDD in the array by a 2TB HD, then use the 1TB SDD as cache. My understanding (which can be faulty, hence this post... 🙂 ) is that I should be able to remove the 1TB SSD from the array and replace it without doing anything special, parity should be able to rebuild the data on the HD. Is that correct, or is there some kind of things/settings which should be taken care of before ? For the cache, how do I proceed ? Would it be a problem if the data is lost, and rebuilt on the "new" one ? Thanks for your help, Bernard
