MoviePilot automates a home media library: it watches your subscriptions, searches your indexers, hands releases to your existing BitTorrent client, then renames, hardlinks and scrapes the finished files and refreshes your media server.

First run

1. Install from Apps, set the Config path (default /mnt/user/appdata/moviepilot-v3).

2. Map /media and /downloads. Put both under the same Unraid share, e.g. /mnt/user/media/ and /mnt/user/downloads/ — different shares mean different filesystems and you lose hardlinks.

3. Set TZ, leave PUID 99 / PGID 100 unless you know you need something else.

4. Start the container, open the WebUI on port 3000 and complete the setup wizard.

Advanced settings (hidden behind "Show more settings"): NGINX_PORT / PORT internal ports, MOVIEPILOT_AUTO_UPDATE, PROXY_HOST, GITHUB_PROXY, GITHUB_TOKEN, MOVIEPILOT_FORCE_CHOWN, and an optional /var/run/docker.sock mapping used only by plugins that restart containers.

Coming from V2?
V3 uses a different image (jxxghp/moviepilot-v3, V2 was jxxghp/moviepilot-v2) and this template will not upgrade a V2 container in place. Install V3 as a new container with its own appdata folder, verify it, then remove V2.

首次使用

从 V2 升级
V3 使用独立镜像（jxxghp/moviepilot-v3，V2 为 jxxghp/moviepilot-v2），本模板不会原地升级 V2 容器。请用新的 appdata 目录另装一个 V3 容器，确认无误后再删除 V2。
