January 13, 20251 yr My first drive failure. I started array in maintenance mode and ran XFS repair per notification and it said it fixed corruption but it created a lost + found folder? Will i be able to rebuild from parity by doing data rebuild with new drive or is the parity data also now like that?. Doing a rebuild will just make the physical drive match the emulated one (which you have just repaired) so not going to improve things. It is possible the physical drive is a better state that the emulated one. You could try to see if you can successfully mount it using Unassigned Devices.
