The diagnostics will probably not help.

I have since disabled C states in bios.

I have since added "rcu_nocbs=0‐15" to the flash drive boot, hopefully this fixes.

This Motherboard/cpu/Ram was part of a Windows 10 Pro system that never had any lock up problems ever, only Unraid locks up.

These lock ups seemed to happen after a parity check has finished over night, I.e. in the morning I cannot access over LAN and the local monitor and keyboard and mouse doesn't work, the local keyboard with LED are off.   Well i have been trying to complete a parity check since swapping out a 12TB disk for a 6TB parity disk & a data rebuild of the old parity disk to a data disk successfully but not sure if parity check completes.

Today was the 2nd morning the Unraid system was found locked up.

First generation Ryzen is particularly problematic with Linux/Unraid.  Worked fine on Windows.

See this link for some suggestions.

The Ryzen 7 1700 is a 1st gen

Timetec 64GB KIT (4x16GB) DDR4 2666MHz PC4-21300 Unbuffered ECC 1.2V CL19 2Rx8 288 Pin UDIMM Server Memory RAM Module Upgrade (64GB KIT (4x16GB)) is my ECC UDIMMs

I tried the boot option on the Unraid flash drive rcu_nocbs=0‐15, see if that helps, Spaceinvader used this on a video a long time ago.

Maybe downclock the Ram from the sticks rated 2666 to 1866.  This part would suck.

I don't want to switch to Intel.

Did you also enable the correct power idle option?

What would that be?  BIOS?  Unraid?

You have Dual Rank memory and 4 DIMMs.  Don't get hung up on the marketing department's 2666 claim.  You need to run at 1866.  This is what a 1st Gen Ryzen's Infinity Fabric based memory controller can handle.

My first Unraid server ran a 1500x.  I had similar issues, until I clocked the memory as it was required.  I seriously doubt you will see any performance hit on your server.

I'll try lowering to 2400, all the QVL with ECC with 4 UDIMMs shows 2400.  And the max for this CPU is 2666 for only 1 or 2 UDIMMs per the QVL info.

The Ryzen 7 1700 is summit Ridge.   None of QVL for Summit Ridge uses 1866, the lowest is 2133

The 1500x and the 1700 are the same Ryzen family.  This I know, I work where they built all of the 1st and 2nd generation Ryzen chips.  I also have been running Ryzen since 1st gen, where my pre-ordered chip arrive a week early.

Nothing on any board manufacture's QVL applies to any non-Windows OS.  If you want stable, you need to set the memory to 1866.  See if this resolves your lock up issue.  If it does, you can try 2133 and see if you are lucky and it remains stable.

I down clocked the ram to from 2666 to 2400 and has not happened again.

And "Typical Power Idle" setting in bios.
