Unraid cache filling up and triggering mover doesn't help

Featured Replies

Hi, I run unraid 7.0.0 stable along with 2 8TB HDDs for an array (setup in BTRFS) and 3 SSDs for a cache (totalling 1gb in ZFS pool) and have been running at about 20% cache utilization for a couple of years now. As of a few days ago, my cache is hovering at around 90% usage (sometimes going higher) and triggering the mover doesn't seem to help.

I ran du -sh /mnt/cache/* and it gave the following output

6.7G /mnt/cache/appdata

183G /mnt/cache/backups

524G /mnt/cache/data

20G /mnt/cache/domains

1.0K /mnt/cache/isos

3.7G /mnt/cache/nextcoud

1.0K /mnt/cache/myname

60G /mnt/cache/system

Why are the data and backup folders so full despite me triggering mover? I checked and my both shares are definitely set to shift to array. Fairly new to unraid so any help would be appreciated

I found part of the issue, my qbittorrent mover script wasn't working since python3 needed to be installed via plugin after update to unraid 7.0.0.

There's a new problem though since mover has been running for several hours now so seems to be running super slowly. I've attached the diagnostics, can someone help me find out why it's taking so long? Thanks

Try removing the mover tuning plugin and retest.
