Cache Drives moved to unassigned drives

Featured Replies

My 2 cache drives have moved to unassigned devices and i am unsure why, and can't seem to assign them as cache again. I am running the latest stable version of unraid. I also include diagnostics. The cache drives are onboard, so there are no cables. I have shutdown, also removed both drives and replaced them again, in the event the connection was the issue. No change to the behaviour.

I was hoping for some assistance in fixing this issues. Any assistance is appreciated.

Create a new pool with two slots, assign both devices, leave the fs set to auto, and start the array, old pool should be imported.

@JorgeB thanks for that. It fixed the drives. Most of my dockers were on the cache and lost a lot of the config but been fiddling this morning and seem to have most of it back up and running. Any ideas why this might have occurred in the first please? Thanks again!

Difficult to say for sure, but could have been a flash drive issue, the pool cfg file got corrupt/deleted, diags show that folder was empty.
