I´m going to update my nic in my server.. I need a cheap 2.5gb card.. Are there any difference in which brand are supported??

I would Avoid reltek that been a off and on problem here on teh fourm... intel has a few good options....

 

If trying to plan ahead. I would recommend a sfp+ card for fiber latter or 10 GB latter and acomplish your current 2.5 GB usign a sfp 2.5 module for future proofing...
