April 7, 201214 yr HI FRIENDS!! I'm trying to configure my first UNRAID server. Doing it straight at the console. Was up to the bit where you preclear you HDD's. I went to check the HDD mappings so I can start the preclearing and for some reason I could not log in and I found that the IP address changed. I decided to set it to 192.168.1.8. After rebooting I found that the unmenu options were no longer visible. I checked the flash and they are still there. When I try to reinstall it through console it tells me " unmenu.awk already exists in /boot/unmenu " however i cant actually see any of the unmenu options on my webgui. WHAT DO?!
April 7, 201214 yr Did you add cd /boot/unmenu ./uu to your go file? Unmenu might not have actually started on your server after the reboot
April 8, 201214 yr Author If I add this line in the console will it enable unmenu to run on reboot? Step 5 To enable UnMENU to run on reboot, at the prompt type echo "/boot/unmenu/uu" >> /boot/config/go I am positive I did this last time yet it did not work? If I reboot later on and unmenu doesnt reappear, can I add that file you quoted to the go file and unmenu will reappear. ( I did it before when you told me, but it didn't work either. ) I started my server install from scratch because unmenu wouldn't reappear. I'm currently preclearing 4 2TB HDD's and 1 250gb cache HDD. I havent restarted the server yet as I'm afraid the unmenu will disappear again. As long as I know it can be fixed later on I'll feel alot safer
