Tailscale to access a VM

Featured Replies

I suspect this is probably obvious, so apologies in advance for a stupid question, but how should I setup a VM for Tailscale access?

I've just upgraded to 7.0.0 and done the initial Tailscale setup (first time I've used it). I see there's extra info on enabling direct Tailscale access to Docker containers, but I can't see the equivalent for VMs. Is that because I should install Tailscale actually within the VM, just the same as if it was a physical server? My use case is Blue Iris on Windows 11 with its own IP address.
