can access unmenu web page but not unraid main page

Featured Replies

hi all, just like the subject says i can access unmenu at the web page 192.168.1.66:8080 but i can't access the main unraid page at 192.168.1.66

this used to work fine but today the page just keeps saying waiting for 192.168.1.66

i am the process of pre-clearing a 3tb drive so i can't even reboot... of course i wouldn't know how to reboot anyway because i can't access the main page!

any suggestions?  i guess unless there's no other options, i'll wait till the preclear finishes and then do a hard power down from back of server?

TO restart to unRAID web GUI enter:

killall emhttp
nohup /usr/local/sbin/emhttp &

cool thanks... will this reboot the server, or just restart the web interface?  i ask because if i need it again, i'll probably be preclearing a drive so i won't want to restart...

it will just re-start the web-interface.

Are you using eset antivirus? Had a similar issue and solved it and put the solution on the forum

I have the same problem but this doesnt solved it. I still can access unmenu but cant access unraid main page.

root@Tower:~# killall emhttp

root@Tower:~# nohup /usr/local/sbin/emhttp &

root@Tower:~# nohup: ignoring input and appending output to `nohup.out'

Nothing happens after the last line.

Totally normal. The last version this method worked on was 4.7

Any newer version your only practical recourse is a full restart of the machine, as emhttp was changed not to allow a service restart. I assume it had something to do with licensing but that was never stated.
