January 17, 20251 yr As far as I understand - the devices has WiFi/Bluetooth combo card that is NOT seed in unraid. my attempts to pass this to HomeAssistant failed miserably no matter if I use VM (HA_in_a_box) or Docker (and passing dbus and other stuff). lack of package manager and systemctl does not help - at best I see the device as usb and can pass the usb but that's it. It took me exactly 5 minutes to get working HA on OMV7 running on PI5 in a docker container. Edited January 17, 20251 yr by MikeManiac
January 18, 20251 yr Community Expert bluetooth should still be seen under lspic lsusb Unraid slckwar done't install blueware drivers as it is not needed. since you are using a VM I would recomend setingup a VFIO Bind to pass the bluetooth chip to the VM.
