April 7, 201214 yr After being able to re-start my unraid server, and ran parity check with a valid parity, I've got another issue. I was trying to watch a movie in my Dune Media player, and I noticed there are two movie folder shares. One is named Movies, and the other MOVIES. Both folder have the same media, but how do I get rid of one of them? I tried deleting one folder only to find out that, it would delete the media from the folder I wasn't deleting. The site won't let me attach a system log file.
April 7, 201214 yr Author Just in case anyone is wondering how I solved the problem. I went to each drive and moved the media out of the multiple share folder MOVIES. After I had moves all the media from each drive, I then moved the media to my Movie folder. Thereafter, I deleted the MOVIES folder from the array. I ended up losing about 16 movies from this problem. I also lost 41 movies when I replace the Samsung F4 drive due to not fully adding the new drive to the array that was replacing the F4 drive. I didn't do a parity check / reconstruction.
