All updaes fail midway including app updates and OS Updates

Featured Replies

Hi, I am kinda new to Unraid and for the last couple months running into issues updating apps as well as OS. Sometimes I have to try 10-20 times for an app update to success. Not sure what's causing this. Does anyone here know what might be the issue?

Uninstall the S3 sleep plugin and retest.

Thank you for the suggestion but that didn't work. I removed Dynamix S3 plugin and even tried restarting Unraid after removal of S3 plugin. Here are the new diagnostics

Not seeing anything relevant logged, try a different NIC, could also be an external LAN problem.

Manually set your dns.

Test with something like:

1.1.1.1

208.67.222.222

9.9.9.9

or 8.8.8.8 (if you don't fear the devil)

Sadly trying different DNS also didn't work. Should I reboot Unraid after changing DNS?

It's not needed, try booting with a new flash drive using a stock install, no key needed, see if you can install CA, that will confirm if it's a config problem or an external issue.

Try the other ethernet port?  It's an Intel E1000 which is the gold-standard for ports

Sorry for the delayed response. Have been feeling under the weather or the last week or so. I was able to run unraid and install CA as well as Tailscale using new flash. Here are the diagnostics

I tried this solution already but sadly couldn't make any progress. Here are the diagnostics with another port.

That suggests you have a config problem, can try redoing the flash drive, backup the current one first and then recreate it using the USB tool and just restore the bare minimum, like the key, super.dat and the pools folder for the assignments, also copy the docker user templates folder (\config\plugins\dockerMan\templates-user), if all works you can then reconfigure the server or try restoring a few config files at a time from the backup to see if you can find the culprit.
