January 18, 20251 yr My VM is running slow as hell. My daily computer is getting 950 mb/s download and 115 mb/s upload while my VM is struggling to get 115 mb/s download and 100 mb/s upload. I've attached my network settings and my VM XML script. Any help would be appreciated. My VM is so laggy it's unbearable! VM XML.txt
January 18, 20251 yr Author I don't get it. One is the VM speeds and the other is the docker "myspeed" running on the same Unraid server. They're sharing the same ethernet line.
January 18, 20251 yr On the phone ao cannot see which network driver, try virtio if you are using virtio-net
January 18, 20251 yr Author @JorgeB I thought the same thing. Virtio gave me the exact same speed issues as virtio-net.
January 19, 20251 yr You could try creating a new VM with the same OS with the current defaults settings and retest to see if it's the same or not.
January 26, 20251 yr Author @JorgeB I got it figured out. My NIC was set at 100mb/s in the properties. I have no idea why Windows would pre-set it like that. All good now though.
