January 20, 20251 yr hello, I installed NEXTCLOUD knex666 version and now I wanto to install teh linuxserver version, because I only need the "official version", I use it has a personal dropbox and chat. Thats all. So, how I can unistall kneex666 version an install another version witouth lost anyting? Thanks.
January 21, 20251 yr Community Expert not very easily. as creating a linux server version would remake salt api security password and keys in the config php... the underlying structure and folder placement is not the same... There is alot you would need to backup from the database that house records and location of files to other php config setting and accounts... Alot of peps seem to have used spaceinvaders AIO nextcloud be a recnt video... Linux server out of them all was nice in atleast maintained updates and notification via the log... But having tested linuxIO for a few time and then Nextcloud weirdness between builds... and other craziness where I had to keep editing the dam config.php and eventual with another update breaking it all due to nextcloud BS...
