Slow Parity-Sync, 1-2MB/s, 150 days

Featured Replies

Hello all, after upgrading my hardware my parity sync has become unreasonably slow.

usually takes about 24hours to complete, now its reporting about 150 days at 1-2MB/s.

I upgraded to the HL15 case with the 45drives black plane and Sata HDDs, which are connected to a lenovo 430-16i hba, then a i9900k system. I don't think its a hardware issue, and had checked the connectors.

Please take a look at the diagnostics attached and help me find the problem.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Controller issues, make sure it well seated and sufficiently cooled, you can also try a different PCIe port.

Thank you, will take a look. Could you tell from the diagnostic report if the fault is with the hba or motherboard controller? Thank you

Look more like the HBA.

Thank you very much, I can confirm it was the HBA overheating.

Rearranged the PCIe cards and placed a fan to blow on the HBA, and now the parity sync speed is as expected.
