Can't log in

Featured Replies

When I enter the correct user & pass and hit log in it clears the text fields like I never tried. When I enter a wrong password on purpose it says invalid. It knows what's right and what's wrong, but it still won't let me in. I also can't access shares half the time, it's random. The arraybis still running, plex is online and working almost at 100%. If I try and change a poster for a playlist in plex it wont load the current image or let me upload. Im not currently on the same network so im using tailscale and im also remoting into a pc that is on the same network. The pc says HTTP ERROR 500 and wont even load the login page. I did notice my ram was unusually high, 60-70% out of 16gbs. I stopped all my dockers except plex and homepage. Hopepage shows 5.7gb free for ram. The closest i can get to my dashboard is the unraid connect app showing me a few stats. What can I do? Get a new boot usb drive? Need more ram? A simple restart when I'm there in-person?

clear browser data... even in gui mode clear the data...

Sometimes a correct login will work, but the web ui redirect didn't load.
you may need to go to
192.168.2.254/login
192.168.2.254/Main

192.168.2.254/Dashboard

to retriger... When I have encountered this it was always the browsered weird data cache-ing...

Sometimes a force page relad fixes this...
I believe the quick keyboard comand was..  ctrl+shift+r or ctrl+shift+f5 ...
...
Other possibilities...
as this can happen if you logged in incorrectly to many times there is a soft ip ban lock when that happens... rebooting the system can reset the ip block unless you have other docker fail2ban stuff setup ....

I am not sure exactly how to reply to you with this being my first time using this site, but I wanted to explain further. I doubt it is a browser issue because I cannot access it from any browser. I have tried samsung internet, chrome, and I used chrome remote desktop to remote into my pc at home. I used chrome on windows and I still cannot get in. It randomly works and I tried right now and it worked. I saw some apps needed to be updated so I went to apps and I got a lot of errors, one is "Failed to write to /tmp/community.applications/tempFiles/templates.json" and if I refresh the page enough times I get "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable". I also tried going to /main /Dashboard but i get redirected to / login. A few days ago I added the tailscale ip I use to get into unraid as a global something. I had gotten a notification in unraid to add it so I did. What ever it is may be affecting ram. I only have 3 dockers running, one uses ~400mb ~150mb ~150mbs. Im using a total of 700mb of ram yet my ram usage is at 11gb/16gb, so 70%

However, I think I messed up the files to something somewhere. I was messing around in appdata for homepage, but besides that I do not know what caused this. It is not a browser issue, not tailscale or ip because even a pc on the same network cannot get in. Shares are affected most of the time same as the log in. And redirection works because I get sent back to /login.

Shoot, how can I undo this? Just to understand what your saying, one of my docker's web ui is messing with unraids web ui? Or when setting up a docker i set the network, bash, shell thing wrong? I did set up an ip camera the night before this happened, but the ip for that is differnt. When I'm there in person I'll still try taking the ip camera down and see if it helps. I was trying to set up motion eye but I couldn't get into the web ui for it and just removed it. The next morning is when I noticed I was having issues logging into unriad. The next time I randomly get in is there anyway I can increas the session timeout so im logged in for much longer? Even if it doesnt help in this situation itll help once I've fixed this, I was thinking a week? If that's not possible then I'll do the most possible time. Thank you so much for helping me, I'm so lost in this and I still don't have the best understanding of unriad and how every little thing works. I appreciate your patience and your insight!
