January 21, 20251 yr I have an external HDD connected to my Unraid via USB which is NOT part of the array. It is mounted and available on Unraid under /mnt/disks/USBDrive. I sit possible for me to share this drive or a directory pn it to other computers on my network as an SMB share? I have been breaking over my head over this and looked through various posts but unable to figure out if this can be done and if so how. When I look at SHARES option in the menu, I ses ethe option of including or excusing disks in the array when I try to create a new share but the USB attached drive is not an option.

January 22, 20251 yr Author Thanks. I tried the SMB Settings inside UD. I have used the following SMB Settings in UD: SMB Sharing - Public Case-sensitive names : Auto force user=nobody : None But no luck. I can't see my drive as an SMB share when I browse network from another computer. I can try posting to UD plugin support as well. Maybe I am missing some setting?
January 22, 20251 yr Community Expert That should do it, but recommend 21 minutes ago, pongo said: posting to UD plugin support
January 23, 20251 yr Author Strange as it may seem, I cannot post to Plugin support forums. Are they restricted?
January 23, 20251 yr Community Expert Only plugin authors can start new threads for new plugins in that forum. You must post to the existing support thread for that plugin. You can go directly to the correct support thread for any of your plugins by clicking its Support link on the Plugins page of your Unraid webUI.
