January 22, 20251 yr This was not an issue prior to upgrade to version 7; so with v6 I did not have this issue. After a period of inactivity it seems as if server goes into a sleep. Accessing web UI or shares for the first time after that takes 20-40 seconds. After that everything goes back to normal and accessing server becomes snappy again. Until the next period of inactivity. Is there an obvious setting I am missing? Attaching diagnostics. tower-diagnostics-20250122-0946.zip
January 22, 20251 yr Community Expert sounds like the normal disk standby to save energy. Look under disk settings if you want to turn it off. What is the problem with it? Usally the people are glad that it works.

And even with that enabled web UI should still accessible immediatelly which is not the case here.

Unless you have a watchdog in your BIOS/UEFI somewhere I dont know any setting in Unraid that lets the box sleep completely (if you find one, tell me, would gladly use it overnight 🙂 )
January 22, 20251 yr Community Expert There are some nginx errors logged, try booting in safe mode and/or closing any browser windows open to the GUI, only open when you need to use it then close again.
