IPTV on loop thru Plex.

Featured Replies

I have my IPTV signal on live tv(plex) for 30 secs or so then replay on loop.  Its happened with either threadfin or Stream Master.

No errors on the unraid log.   I have no issues with IPTV with a dedicated app such as ipsmarters.

thanks for reading.

Also noticed.  That the stream will still keep downloading.  I can skip forward no problem.  Slide up the timeline and play whats been streaming.  On its own it just replays 30 seconds.

I don’t think plex handles streaming live tv the most elegantly.

I have a similar but opposite issue. My IPTV on plex will just stop playing where as on other apps it skips around often repeating itself almost like someone’s randomly pressing the rewind 5 seconds button.

I end up using SmartersIPTVPro.  It’s not the prettiest thing in the world.  But it’s free and it works.  Frustrating that this stand alone apps can can get it but plex has this feature not ready for prime time.
