I'm having a rather odd issue. When I read data over my gigabit network onto my pc's ssd I get a network utilization of around 15%, but when I write the same file to unraid I get a utilization of around 95%

This is only noticed when I copy from the transmission torrent save to folder: "/mnt/disk6/torrents/download" that just happens to be a share folder as well.

That particular disk is an almost empty 2TB caviar green.

 

There is nothing noteworthy in the log, -afaik...

There is a cache drive in the unraid

None of the disk in the array is more than 95% filled

 

Has anyone any idea of where I should look for a solution?
