January 24, 20251 yr Hello everyone, I have recently been using Unraid 7.0 on an HP EliteDesk G5 Mini with 1 Parity (external SSD), 1 integrated NVMe, and 1 external SSD. The filesystem used is encrypted XFS. Unfortunately, I have been experiencing many unclean shutdowns lately and I am slowly running out of ideas and hope to get to the bottom of the problem here. - Mem tests are unremarkable - BIOS is up to date - NIC Flow Control / NIC Offload disabled via Tips and Tweaks plugin, still having issues - Fix Common Problems plugin also unremarkable Edited February 5, 20251 yr by Dan.D
January 24, 20251 yr Community Expert Solution USB not recommended for assigned disks. Also SSDs in the parity array cannot be trimmed, and can only be written at parity speed. Unraid V7 doesn't require you to have an array. Usually SSDs would be put in pools.
