Cache Drive Unmountable: unsupported or no file system

Featured Replies

I got home yesterday and plex had stopped working. When I logged in I noticed the error on my cache drive. It is an SSD with btrfs format that I used to keep all of my appdata on so that things would be snappy. All of the smart tests on the drive say there are no errors and it should be working fine. is there a simple repair I can run to make this mountable again and restore my appdata?

I thought it was the same File system as I use on my other server but maybe not? is there an easy way to chech the file system used on a drive that fails to mount?

Sorry i don't know too much about commands on unraid or in general

This is not correct, it's missing the partition, try /dev/nvme0n1p1

# btrfs restore -v /dev/nvme0n1p1 /mnt/disk2/restore
ERROR: failed mkdir /mnt/disk2/restore/appdata: No such file or directory

Am i putting this in correctly?

Edit: I forgot to restart the array so the destination was available. after doing that I got this:

 btrfs restore -v /dev/nvme0n1p1 /mnt/disk2/Restore
offset is 4096
offset is 28672
offset is 4096
offset is 4096
