Can't gracefully shutdown or reboot

Featured Replies

Whenever I try to reboot my unRAID server, I have to force reboot with "reboot -f", because when I want to stop the array/pool, it always gets stuck with the message "Retry unmounting disk share(s)". My guess is that some process hinders the array (or pool in my case) from stopping. Is there a way I can find out what blocks the process?

Disable Docker and VM service and reboot in safe mode, then see if the array stops normally like that.

I think that was it. Just stopping the Docker containers isn't enough, the Docker service itself needs to be stopped as well. Would be nice if stopping the Docker service was a part of the process when stopping the Array.

It is.   Sounds as if something is stopping the Docker Service stopping tidily during the shutdown.
