[7.0.0] Best Way to Use Dual Monitors with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti for Multiple VMs

Featured Replies

Hi Unraid Community,

I have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card with two HDMI outputs. Here's my goal:

I want to run two virtual machines (VMs) on Unraid, each using a separate monitor connected to the GPU.

I want each VM to have its own dedicated display.

Here are my questions:

Is it possible to use my RTX 3060 Ti's two HDMI outputs for two separate VMs, with each VM controlling one output?

Do I need multiple GPUs to achieve this setup, or is it feasible with a single GPU?

What’s the most cost-effective way to accomplish this, assuming I want dual-monitor support across two VMs?

Any advice, configuration tips, or suggestions for hardware setup would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!
