January 28, 20251 yr Hello Everyone, I've a problem configuring my Unraid server to work with the built-in 10G network card. The mainboard is a: Gigabyte GA-7PESH2 The ethernet card is a : Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller 10-Gigabit X540-AT2 So when I connect the ethernet cable to the 10G port on my SFP - it doesn't light up at all. (tried on both ports). Oddly enough - when the server is POWERED OFF, it lights up :-O Anyone had similar issue?
January 29, 20251 yr Community Expert this is much too little info to make an educated guess. Its still winter and the fog makes my crystal ball very hazy... Pls add diagnostics and a description of the used cards/sfp modules/switches. Edited January 29, 20251 yr by MAM59
