April 12, 201214 yr Anyone know just how reliable the Free Space column is for network drives? I put a 1TB drive in like, 3 weeks ago now and it hasn't been touched what so ever and Windows' view on the mapped drives doesn't show the 1+TB free space, and the total size is also 1TB shy. None of my shares are set to include or not-include certain disks, they are all set to 20GB min. free space and split level 2. I've attempted to also try and create the folders for the root user shares on the disk to see if that would help start moving stuff onto it instead.
April 13, 201214 yr Author You've got me if you ask how, but i just stopped the array and started it twice and everything is working, the drive can be seen and usable..etc. The machines been restarted twice since that drive was installed, i see no reason why another two start/stop of the array made it start working and usable.
