Making Fans work well in TerraMaster t12 500 pro

Featured Replies

I have a new T12 500 pro running Unraid 7.

I was getting hot drive warnings then realized the fans didn't seem like they were on much. 46-57c

I searched around and installed the ITE IT87 Driver plugin, and then the Dynamix Auto Fan Control.

That was able to get one fan to run around 4000-500 rpm, the 2nd fan at 1/2 that speed. and fan 3 and 4 to read 0 rpm. Drives are now in the 40-45c range

Anyone have any advice for this?

I noticed in the auto fan control controls there are 4 options in the PWM controller dropdown. It wasn't clear if I needed to choose each option, and set up for that fan. or just one.

or maybe I'm approaching this the wrong way.

Did you ever resolve the issue and get all fans working?
