Semi-random reboots

Featured Replies

I've been getting random reboots overnight. Thought it may be ram so I swapped to a different kit. Based on the time my Plex container says it's been on, it seems to happen when the script to restart my game server containers happens. The odd thing is I have those set to nightly resets but it doesn't happen every night. Other than the ram, no hardware changes haven taken place. Fix common problems mentions the server detected hardware errors but locating them in the diagnostics seemed to be outside my google fu skills. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Server rebooting by itself is almost always a hardware problem, if it's not the RAM, PSU is a good candidate, board/CPU could also be the issue.

I switched from the official container for Plex to the Binhex version and I'm at 8 days uptime where the previous record was 2. I think there is some conflict in the official container using Plex Pass that doesn't seem present with Binhex. Gonna mark this resolved for now. No hardware was replaced.
