February 1, 20251 yr Hi, Im having a weird problem right now. Drives dying after another. So recently a 6TB of mine died so I replaced it with a 12TB. after probably less than a month the 12TB died and i replaced it with a spare 12TB. But then when I was rebuilding my array a different 10TB died. Im kinda confused if they are really dead drives or just like bad sata cables or connector. Just the coincidence is too much. When I say dead btw i meant like millions of errors Karl sobnology-diagnostics-20250201-1153.zip

Unraid seems to not want the drive anymore lol Karl

Unraid must be able to accurately read every bit of all other disks in order to accurately rebuild a disabled disk. Check connections, both ends, SATA and power, including splitters. Be careful you don't disturb any other connections when you are trying to fix disk8 connection. All plugs must sit squarely on the connector, without any tension on the cable that might disturb the connection. Don't bundle data cables to make things "neat". Ideally no more than 4 disks per PSU cable.
