Another - Share "appdata" is set to Cache only, but files \ folders exist on array

Featured Replies

Hi folks, I keep getting the above error message. I am running the last version of Unraid. This error has been going on for a while. I download my media files to the cache drive (M.2 drive) and then use 'mover' to transfers the files from the cache to the array (HDD).  Maybe I have messed up somewhere as mover is not working now.  Any help will be super welcome. Thanks :)

According to your Diagnostics, appdata is not cache-only, it is set to be moved to the array. You really want it to be moved to cache. Your system share is set correctly, but it also has files on the array.

Nothing can move open files. Disable Docker and VM Manager in Settings.

Set appdata to Primary:cache; Secondary: array; Mover action:array->cache

Run Mover from Main - Array Operations, wait for it to complete.

Then post new diagnostics

Looks like you skipped this important step:

Try again.

You may have to remove Mover Tuning plugin. I question its usefullness anyway.

Mover won't overwrite files, so you probably have duplicates on disk1 for system share. You will have to clean those up yourself. Dynamix File Manager (built-in to Unraid v7) can help with that.
