I was just wondering what the best recent option there is to the SUPERMICRO MBD-X8SIL-F-O.  Something using a 1155 chip, or possibly Xeon.

 

My pops wants me to build him a server, so I may donate my current parts to him and build a little stronger.  My current home PC is over 10 years old, so even the semi-budget build I have is much better.  My end goal would be to possibly virtualize windows and get rid of my PC all together.

    The LGA 2011 Boards are only just coming out and are to new to have been tested with unRAID (not to mention Expensive).
