February 2, 20251 yr I have Unraid 7.0 and a 2tb Cache nvme drive. I'm considering putting another 2tb nvme drive to mirror the current cache drive. Since I have never done this, what is the recommended process? Just add the second drive to the current cache pool? I'm using zfs.
February 2, 20251 yr Best case scenario is that they are exactly the same size or the new nvme is slightly bigger. If not, here is a post I made about a situation where the nvmes are slightly different sizes:
