my sabnzbd queue went missing

Featured Replies

I'm using unraid 5.0 beta 14.  I used the sabnzbd that came with the unraid version, configured it, and started receiving downloads from couchpotato and sickbeard.  I have chosen /boot/sabnzbd as my install-dir.  I found out that this wasn't a good choice.  Anyway, all is working, and even after reboot, all was still there.  Until suddenly today, all my queues went missing.  I have history of all that has been downloaded.  But all titles that were queued before are no longer there.  I also noticed that my logs has 0 warnings, where it used to have a lot.  My logs shows nothing.

Any way to get back all queues?  I don't know how to let couchpotato add movies once again of those not yet on my system.  Can it even do that?

This is 2nd time this happened to me.  Has this anything to do with installing sabnzbd, couchpotato and sickbeard on the flash drive?  /boot/sabnzbd, /boot/couchpotato and /boot/sickbeard?

Please help.

You will kill the flash drive doing that. You can pull the flash and try a checkdisk on a PC. The queue will go missing if you stop and start the program. Otherwise, I have no idea. It's easy to re-add files. Just use the little arrow symbols besides the snatched file names.

This is sabnzbd related.

Check the configuration button and you should see a list of orphins files.

Click "add" and they will be back in sabnzbd and will restart from the last point of download.

You can also click the repair button to repair the dowloading list.

And then click the restart button to restart sabnzbd.

Hello lionelhutz, how long, do you reckon will my flash drive survive?  Over 3 years?  Or not even a year?

Hello Jupilerman,

Does this mean even if I have the apps installed on cache drive, this may still happen from time to time?

If I don't have paid version, only using the 3 drives, 1 used as parity, the other 2 is used as drives in the array, where's the best place to install these apps?

Lastly, how do I move them onto a new location, and yet, have couchpotato retain the list of all snatched, Sabnzbd keep a list of the titles on queue?

Thanks

Probably depends on the quality but I wouldn't expect to get years out of it those apps read and write a fair bit.

Ok. Thanks

Yes, it can happen. The location of the app is not the cause.

Usualy, it is because sabnzbd did not stop correctly and lost the queue.

You can add a small spare drive to your machine wich will be of course outside the array, mount it from the go script and use it as a temp drive for sabnzbd (and torrent, virtualbox,...) the same way you'll do with the cache drive.
