February 14, 20251 yr My unraid server has been crashing sporadically over the last few months before and after recent 7 update. I've tried to understand what's going on using the logs to no avail. Hoping someone could take a look at the diagnostics and see if anything going on that I missed. The crashes seem to be random and I won't know about them until I try and use a service and I can't access the unraid GUI or other docker apps. I've tried to ssh and tried to login using physical keyboard and monitor when this happens which doesn't help. I end up having to hard reset. mercury-diagnostics-20250213-2202.zip

February 14, 20251 yr Solution Unfortunately, there's nothing relevant logged, this can also be a hardware issue, one thing you can try is to boot the server in safe mode with all docker containers/VMs disabled, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one, including the individual docker containers. Additionally, look in the BIOS for a "Global C-States" or similar setting and disable that to retest, it's been known to be a problem with some boards, with both Intel and AMD CPUs.
