February 14, 20251 yr Hi, Can someone recommend a 2.5Gbps or faster network usb adapter which will work correctly with the newest version of unraid. My current 2.5Gbps adapter with realtek drivers is crushing the system. Without drivers is not working.
February 15, 20251 yr Community Expert Most of the usb drivers are relatek. I usualy go with asus brand version fo the RTL chip. https://a.co/d/1vRSgDo you may need to instll 3rd party realtek driver: some 2.5 may need adition user script to get and use the full 2.5 system see the realtek form pages... I have not had issues with that usb for unraid and other device for a usb nic. Your mileage may vary...
