February 17, 20251 yr I've been running Unraid on an HP Microserver Gen8 for years with great success and recently upgraded to a Gen10 Plus. I'm looking for advice on how to add a cache drive to this new setup. While using a PCIe NVMe adapter for the cache drive seems easiest, I'd prefer to reserve the PCIe slot for a P400 GPU to accelerate Plex. I'd appreciate hearing from other Gen10 Plus users about any alternative solutions they've found for adding a cache drive. Thank you for your time and insights.
