Legacy Pro License question

Featured Replies

I have 2 legacy Pro Licenses for Unraid.  The problem that I have been dealing with for awhile is that the size of the Unraid OS has been gradually increasing.  Both of my Pro Licenses were provided to me pre-installed on flash drives with 512 MB capacity.  Updating from the GUI has not been possible for some time - I have been downloading Unraid OS from a Windows computer and updating the bz*** files on the flash drives manually.  With the latest update to the 7.0 OS, the files are too large to fit.

For one key, I decided to purchase a new Lifetime license - I have used Unraid for years, and I am happy to support future development by doing so.  I was hoping, though, there might be a way to transfer my other legacy Pro license to a new, larger capacity flash drive?  I tried through the GUI using the "replace key" option, but it fails.  Of note, the only license key that shows up under my account is my recently purchased one.

If the best option is to buy another Lifetime license, I am more than happy to do so.  Any advice is much appreciated.

There should be no issue transferring a Pro licence to a new flash drive.   You do not mention how it failed, but if needed you can contact support for help.
