Drive is disabled and can't get it online

Featured Replies

I had drive 8 fail in my raid.  I replaced it and now when restart raid it is disabled.

I have stopped the array and removed it.

Then restart array

Stop it again and readd drive

Start again still disabled.  What else can I do?

Emulated disk8 seems empty. Is that expected?

Do you still have original disk8?

Looks like connection problems on new disk8.

If you rebuild that empty emulated disk8 the result will be an empty disk8.

Was disk8 supposed to be empty? Did you perhaps make the mistake of formatting it?

Never asked to format it.

Can you mount the original disk8 as an Unassigned Device?
